New Jersey Life Sciences Giant located in Morris County, New Jersey seeks experienced CPA to be responsible for multi-billion $ Revenue Recognition and Control Department. Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:

 

Lead Revenue Recognition and Control Department in ensuring accuracy and integrity of reported revenue and receivables in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations.Hire, train, monitor and evaluate staff to ensure top performance.Work to continually centralize revenues of subsidiaries both domestic and foreign.Integrate revenues and receivables of acquisitions.Ensure control and revenue recognition throughout systems conversions.Ensure control and integrity of subsidiaries revenue recognition by making sure policies and procedures are communicated and known to each subsidiary. Provide technical guidance with respect to revenue recognition as needed.Production and enhancement of revenue portion of the Company’s Management reporting package.Participate with other management in making recommendation for cash maximization and reduction of bad debt expense.Ensure that controls are in place to meet the requirements of company policy and SOX 404.Assist external auditors in annual audit and quarterly reviews.Special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

The ideal candidate should be a CPA with 5-8 years related Big 4/Corporate experience and with previous supervisory experience. Candidate should be self-motivated, have strong verbal and communication skills, and be proficient with PC and MS Office.
