Leading sell side algorithmic research group supporting internal systematic trading desks and hedge fund clients would like to bolster significantly its algorithmic research quant team. Roles & Compensation level The team has made a strong and transparent impact on the performance of the systematic prop effort and the execution services provided to clients for the past few years. Following this success and in order to leverage the Head of Equity trading has mandated a significant growth in the rescues and reach of this group. Hence, the group is looking to hire junior to experienced quantitative analysts with a focus on algorithmic model and tool development. Dependent on your experience and interests you will focus on research and developing tools some of the following areas: - Market Microstructure / Impact - High Frequency Systematic trading strategies and algorithms - Optimisation models - Options pricing algorithms - Structured products advisory The head of the group expects the range of compensation offered for the first year to be between USD 250 and USD 500, dependent on experience and skills. Requirements PhD in a quantitative discipline from a leading faculty At least 1 years experience in the R & D of algorithmic trading tools and research. There is no upper limit on the experience. Strong implementation skills in C++.
