Responsibilities:

Are you a driven, smart sales executive who can THINK BIG to develop new and existing business? We currently have a Business Development Association opportunity available in our Erie, Pennsylvania territory.

Staples Business Advantage is looking for a driven and motivated sales superstar for our Business Development team. In this position the right candidate will…
• Implement sales strategy and ensure the company meets revenue and profit objectives through targeted prospecting of mid-size to large accounts
• Call on the decision-makers within accounts and schedule face-to-face contact with prospective buyers
• Manage the transition of new accounts to designated Account Managers
• Develop new business primarily through in-person contacts, phone follow-up, and presentations

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years plus of successful sales experience
• Proven self-starter with energy and motivation to find, develop and close sales leads
• Must be results oriented and driven by both financial and career opportunities
• Knowledge of products, pricing, competition and sales objectives
• Strong time management skills a must
• Industry knowledge a plus
