Sky Group Consulting and Executive Recruiting has an opening for a Tax Manager that is looking for a challenge. Our client is a Midtown NYC firm that has a young and exciting team but is missing a strong leader. He or She MUST be a CPA, a masters in taxation preferred although not necessary. You also must have at least 10+ years experience in Public Accounting in all areas of taxation including Individual, Corporate, Partnerships and Trusts. Knowledge of foreign nationals and entities doing business in the US is a necessity. Candidate must possess an ability to work on their own and develop younger staff. Other specific needs include an ability to undertake tax research and produce detailed but concise memoranda to clients.

 

The organization has been around since 1926.95% of their business is in NY in areas such as Manufacturing, Real Estate, High Net Worth Individuals, as well as various Creative Industries.We are looking for candidates that have great communication skills which includes written and verbal. The organization needs to know that you are fully capable of explaining the research you and your team has accomplished to your client.A Tax Manager that is project oriented, has worked in Public Accounting and who enjoys tackling complex projects will acquire this position.
