Title: North Carolina Media Sales RepresentativeTerms: An immediate, full-time contract position with negotiable annual terms. Candidate must reside in the North Carolina Triad/Triangle region and be enthused to work from a home-based environment. Travel will be required approximately two days a week on average to meet with clients from Western North Carolina to the Outer Banks.
Compensation: Negotiated minimal base salary with rewarding commissions to be formulated consistent with the enterprise needs and level of candidate talent/capacity. State-of-the-art Apple laptop equipment and software, prospect data bank and first class collaterals provided by the enterprise. Total compensation will be competitive. Travel and sales related expenses covered.
Duties: Present CarolinaLiving online and print lead generation tools to NC prospects and ad agencies seeking market share of affluent families with plans to visit, relocate or acquire second homes in the Carolinas.
Skill Set: Current proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Candidate will be trained to use FileMakerPro database CRM system and Apple computers, if necessary. Must demonstrate proven sales track record and furnish 2007 IRS 1099. Experience in real estate, print media or online Web sales is preferred, but not mandatory.
Education: A 4-year college degree and prior sales training a requirement. 1-4 years of successful sales or other professional work experience is preferred.
Characteristics: Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with high integrity, creativity, and dedication. Efficiency and excellent inter-personal communication skills is a must, along with proven selling skills that will fit a positive team environment. Rewards are low stress, recognition and commitment from the enterprise for a long-term relationship.
