POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Systems Security Analyst will support the cyber security operations for a major Federal Government Agency.   The individual will be responsible for assisting with the certification and accreditation (C&A) of numerous classified and unclassified systems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:             Bachelor degree Information Technology. CISSP certification a plus.

Experience:            Five (5) to ten (10) years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.  

Required Skills:    

·         Knowledge of the certification and accreditation (C&A) process is critical.

·         Must have a technical background and in-depth knowledge of cyber security, policies, procedures, operations and cutting-edge technologies.

·         Knowledge and experience with FISMA , FIPS and NISTanalysis and reporting is essential.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

·         Working knowledge and experience with network security is highly desirable.

·         Experience with development and implementation of security policies is highly desirable.

Multiple years of network engineering or network administration, including hands-on cyber security experience with various tools and techniques is ideal
