POSITION SUMMARY:
The Web Developer will help NHTSA’s CIO provide intranet support services to other NHTSA Program Offices using Microsoft SharePoint. The Web Developer will support the enhancement, development, and migration of SharePoint sites in coordination with federal client. As Microsoft SharePoint expert, you must demonstrate technical skills in integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft products. Moreover, as an onsite representative of the company, you must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with the client. Specific responsibilities include:
· Installation, patching, setup, support, and deployment of SharePoint
· Creation of Sites, Site Collections, Document and Form libraries.
· Customization of library attributes, search and indexing, import of existing data, etc
· Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, Systems Management, and/or SQL server.
· Mentor and advise both NHTSA’S CIO internal and external administrators and developers
· Write appropriate and accurate documentation for deliverables of projects
· Work with customers to define requirements and develop SharePoint solutions.
· Provide system level documentation and presentations to system stakeholders.
· Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of the development and test environments.
Occasional travel between client sites may be required. Candidate may be subject to a security investigation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Microsoft SharePoint certification is a plus.
Experience: 7 years experience in systems design and development

· Experience connecting applications to backend Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
