What would you be doing?

 

As a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager you would be responsible for building a working relationship with all parties involved in disability and worker’s compensation claims to ensure workers receive prompt and effective treatment and claims are processed quickly and thoroughly.  This position would be working out of our client location in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Other responsibilities would include:

 

Managing diverse caseloads to ensure workers receive appropriate medical careConsulting with physicians on treatment plansCoordinating injured workers’ return to work with employersMeeting with employers or physicians to discuss case-specific details as neededFollowing up with workers who have returned to work to monitor effectiveness of treatmentServing as point of contact for employers on casesDocumenting all communications in a paperless environment

Current and unrestricted Compact State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky is highly preferredPrevious work experience in occupational health or case managementCertified Case Managers and Certified Occupational Health Nurses are preferredAbility to work independently Excellent computer and keyboarding skills Marketing or public speaking experience is a plus
